Betty “Anne” Holloway, 90, of Eatonton passed away on March 15, 2024.

Anne was born December 16th, 1933 to the late Ward and Minnie Holloway.

Anne lived her adult life in Atlanta where she was a long-time member of the Church of the Apostles.

She loved to travel the world and experience life to the fullest. Her favorite trip was to Israel where she was baptized in the Jordan River. She was such a positive and loving person, always giving to others, and not to forget always ready for a fun time with lots of laughter.

She retired from the State after 30+ years and came back home to Eatonton in her later years to be close to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Ellen Bowen. Anne is survived by four brothers Jubral (Betty) Holloway, Bennie Holloway, Jimmy Holloway, and Johnny (Michele) Holloway as well as many nieces and nephews. Anne was a member of Liberty Chapel of Eatonton and enjoyed her time of worship with her many friends there.

We will be having a Memorial/Celebration of Life on April 14th at Liberty Chapel 269 Milledgeville Rd Eatonton Ga. 3 pm.

Please join us wearing your best hat. Those who knew her know how much she loved her hats.
