Jury asks for more time to decide Rowe's fate

No decision will come Tuesday on the fate of Donnie Rowe Jr. for killing Christopher Monica and Curtis Billue, former officers of the Georgia Department of Corrections.

The jury from Grady County, sequstered for the trial that is underway in the Putnam County Courthouse, convicted Rowe of the murders Sept. 23. Jurors asked to reconvene Wednesday morning for further deliberation, which was granted by Chief Superior Court Judge Brenda Trammell.

The defense and prosection both presented closing arguments Sept. 28.
