Mr. Royce Olin Humphries, 76, passed away September 4, 2021.

Graveside services were held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Eatonton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Olin was born to Royce Matthew and Eva McMullen August 12, 1945 in Baldwin County Georgia. He graduated from Putnam County High School in 1964. He worked at Enterprise Aluminum Company until it closed. Then he worked and retired from Rock Eagle 4H Center.

In 1982 he was introduced to turkey hunting. He made his first call for himself and then others wanted one. This was the beginning of Olin’s Custom Calls. He met so many young and old turkey hunters and became friends with each. Olin was a member of Marshall Memorial Baptist Church. There he served as a deacon and on the building and grounds committee. He also led the music. He loved his church family and all that he came in contact with. His first love was Jesus Christ his Savior. He loved his family and was always there for them. He was preceded in death by his son Bryan Humphries and grandson Josh Humphries

Olin is survived by his wife, Elaine Humphries; two sons, Bill Humphries and Greg Humphries, as well as 8 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
