BankSouth contributes $100k to St. Mary's Good Samaritan

BankSouth recently contributed $100,000 to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital through the Georgia HEART Rural Hospital Tax Credit Program. The contribution will help support the hospital to continue delivering highquality healthcare and access to essential services for the local community.

“Supporting the health and wellbeing of our local communities is an important part of BankSouth’s mission,” BankSouth CEO Harold Reynolds said. “Were proud to invest in St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital and the important work they do to ensure families have access to quality healthcare close to home.”

BankSouth’s contribution will support the hospital’s ongoing growth and delivery of high-quality care while addressing priority needs to strengthen healthcare services for Lake Country.

Previous contributions have helped the hospital expand access to important services such as telemedicine, which allows more patients to receive care locally.

“BankSouth’s generous contribution will help St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital maintain and enhance the high-level care we provide to patients in our community,” Trinity Health Georgia President and CEO Stonish Pierce said. “We are thankful for their investment in the hospital and the people we serve.”
