Gospel artist Habedank to perform in Eatonton

Multiple award-winning Christian musical artist Joseph Habedank will return to Eatonton on Nov. 22 as part of his “Autobiography” tour.

Habedank is no stranger to writing songs about real life. However, for the first time, he is diving deep into his storytelling tendencies for an album that is a more of a personal undertaking.

Aptly titled Autobiography, Habedank’s fifth studio album sets his own story to music. Its 12 tracks take listeners on a chronological journey through Habedank’s childhood, culminating in his present-day testimony of sobriety.

Described as a modern Southern Gospel singer, Habedank is a two-time Grammy-nominated, five-time GMA Dove Award-winning, six-time BMI Award recipient, and 10-time Singing News Fan Award-winning artist, including seven fan-voted Soloist of the Year awards.

Two local groups will provide the opening act of Eatonton’s show: the Putnam County Ensemble of Praise, and the Eatonton First Methodist Church Trio.

The concert is this Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at Eatonton First Methodist Church, 103 W. Magnolia St., Eatonton.

Admission is free, with a love offering optional. For more information, call 706-485-5871. To learn more about Habedank and his music, visit online at JosephHabedank.com.
