In 1995, Dolly Parton started mailing books to children in her home county in Tennessee to inspire children to love reading in honor of her dad, who couldn’t read or write.
Thirty years later, Putnam Reads signed on to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library in May of 2025 to help give our children their best start in life.
