Local wellness coach earns national certification

Eatonton wellness coach Anne Hays recently received her National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBCHWC) certification from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching, effective Aug. 1 this year.

The credential helps healthcare professionals, patients, and employers to identify coaches who have completed accredited training, logged 50 or more qualifying coaching sessions, and passed the national board exam, developed with the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Hays also is a Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor through the Functional Nutrition Alliance. She came to health and wellness coaching after more than 30 years in public accounting, when asking for help with her own health became a turning point.

“For a long time, work came first, and asking for help with my health changed everything,” Hays said. “I’m excited to put this certification to work right here at home, helping people around the lake feel like themselves again.”

Through her practice, Ardently Annie (ardently- annie.life), Hays offers wellness coaching and functional nutrition counseling for adults in midlife and life transitions, with a focus on sustainable change rather than quick fixes. Hays can see clients virtually or in person around Lake Country and can be reached at 770-828-5097 or annie@ ardently-annie.life.
