Putnam County Early Learning Program (PCELP) recently celebrated Georgia Pre-K Week by recognizing the importance of early childhood education and the positive impact Georgia’s Pre-K program has on young learners. Through engaging learning experiences, meaningful relationships, and hands-on activities, PCELP students build the foundational skills they need for future success. Administered under the Putnam County Charter School System, this program focuses on building core school readiness skills for children ages 3, 4, and Pre-K. The program operates out of the campus on Old Glenwood Springs Road in Eatonton. Shown are Pre-K teacher Anna Watkins (left) and Putnam Board of Commissioners Information Officer Stephanie McMullen.
