The Spencer Bradley Foundation for Mental Health announced last week that tickets, sponsorships, and golf team registrations are now on sale for the inaugural Songs & Drives for Lives, a two-day fundraising event presented by The Oconee Cellar Sept. 13-14, at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee (126 Cuscowilla Dr., Eatonton).
The Spencer Bradley Foundation was established by David, Patti, and Sophia Bradley following the loss of their son and brother, Spencer, in June 2022.
“This event is about much more than great music and great golf,” Dr. David Bradley said. “Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and golf team registered helps us continue to provide funding for lifesaving mental health education and resources throughout our communities.”
The two-day event kicks off Sept. 13 with the Songs & Drives for Lives Singer-Songwriter Night featuring award-winning hitmaker Corey Crowder, a songwriter, producer, and Lake Oconee resident, alongside songwriters Ray Fulcher and Ben Williams.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, a live auction, and an intimate performance by three of Nashville’s top songwriters, with hits recorded by artists Luke Combs, Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Chris Young, Kenny Chesney, and Dierks Bentley, among others.
The event continues Sept. 14, with the Songs & Drives for Lives Golf Tournament, featuring scramble play, contests, prizes, food and beverages, with all wrapped by an awards reception.
Several opportunities exist for businesses and individuals to get involved in Songs & Drives for Lives through sponsorships, ranging from premier event packages to community giving. Concert sponsorships include reserved VIP seating and golf packages, while golf-only sponsorships and charitable giving options allow organizations of every size to support the cause.
Limited concert tickets, sponsorship opportunities, and golf teams are available, with only 23 golf teams to be accepted for the tournament. Preferred concert seating will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
