Delicious dishes served at Taste of Eatonton

After a two-year experiment on Saturday nights, the 24th annual Taste of Eatonton, presented by the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce and Eatonton Main Street, returned to Monday last week with a couple hundred hungry food fans converging on The Plaza Arts Center lawn.

Bruzze Brewing, Devereux Crab Shack, Dot 2 Dot Inn, Dough Daddy Dough, Giant Subs at Oconee Wild, Kersey Catering, Kina’s Krazy Kreations, Tipsy Turtle, and Two Rivers Nutrition were among the local restaurants and food trucks participating in Taste of Eatonton.

Also on site was a fun photo booth set up in a classic camping trailer, face painting for the kids, jewelry, and crafts sales, and the Amy Rae Band performed live music.

The next free event presented by Eatonton Main Street will be the Lunch Break Day Party presented by Eatonton City Council on Friday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Lunch Break Day Party will feature live music by The Ray Howard Singers and food trucks onsite. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and come ready to enjoy great food and great music with even better friends in the crowd.
