Governor Brian Kemp has reappointed Trevor J. Addison, Clerk of Superior, State and Juvenile Courts for Putnam County, to the Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority (GSCCCA).
Addison was recently sworn in for another term by Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge Brenda H. Trammell.
Addison was originally appointed to the GSCCCA by Kemp in January 2025 and sworn into office on Feb. 25, 2025. His reappointment continues his service on the 10-member Authority Board, which includes three members appointed directly by the governor.
“I am incredibly honored that Governor Kemp has entrusted me to continue serving on the GSCCCA Board,” Addison said. “It has been a privilege to work alongside clerks from across Georgia during my first term, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue contributing to an Authority that provides such critical services to our courts, our clerks and the citizens we serve.”
During Addison’s first term, the GSCCCA continued to expand and modernize its statewide services while returning nearly $6.7 million to clerks’ offices to support the imaging, preservation and management of court and real estate records.
Since the inception of its compensation programs, the Authority has returned approximately $112.3 million in print compensation and $25.7 million in image compensation to clerks’ offices statewide. These funds help offset the costs associated with preserving, imaging, and maintaining Georgia’s official court and real estate records.
Among the Authority’s other accomplishments during the past year:
- Added 19.8 million images to GSCCCA search systems, bringing the statewide total to nearly 368 million images.
- Distributed approximately 1,500 pieces of equipment to clerks’ offices across Georgia.
- Through Virtual Microfilm, imported more than 8.4 million deed images, 2 million lien images and 845,000 plat images, bringing the system to more than 350 million images totaling 18.7 terabytes of data.
- The Fines and Fees Division collected and disbursed $100.6 million in court fees and collected an additional $1.6 million in trust fund interest.
- More than 1.9 million real estate documents were submitted through the statewide eFile portal.
- Indexed more than 290,000 UCC filings, bringing the total indexed since 1995 to more than 8.3 million.
Established in 1993, the GSCCCA oversees and supports several critical statewide systems used by Georgia’s Superior Court clerks, including real estate and property records, Uniform Commercial Code filings, notary public services, e-filing, document authentication and records preservation.
The Authority has also continued its focus on modernization and accessibility through services such as electronic certification, online access to public records, the Filing Activity Notification System and statewide records preservation initiatives.
“I am proud of what the Authority has accomplished over the past year, but I am even more excited about the work that remains ahead,” Addison said.
“Technology continues to change the way clerks serve the public, and our responsibility is to make sure Georgia remains at the forefront of providing secure, efficient and accessible government services. I look forward to continuing this work with my fellow clerks and the dedicated staff of the Authority.”
The GSCCCA is a self-funded state authority governed by a 10-member board appointed by the governor, the lieutenant governor, the speaker of the Georgia House of Representatives, and the Council of Superior Court Clerks.
The Authority’s work supports all 159 Superior Court clerks and the millions of Georgians who rely on the records, systems and services administered by their offices.
Addison’s continued appointment reflects his commitment to strengthening the services provided by Georgia’s clerks and advancing the Authority’s mission of preserving records, improving technology and serving the public.
