Dear editor:
This has been another busy and exciting week. I love it, I love it, I love it. I can’t pass by the courthouse square without admiring the landscape. Is it not beautiful?
The restaurants downtown are filled up, and we are proud of it. Down Horton Industrial Blvd., Ms. Stella’s is booming. Coming up 441, Tastee Chic is wrapped around with hungry visitors. It is also so good to see that. On Sunday, the parking lots at the churches are filled also. We are definitely not forgetting to worship and send up prayers.
Oops, I must tell you this. I went to the Plaza to see the musical Godspell. What a talented group of young people. It is indescribable. Those young people could dance, sing and leave you spellbound. If you missed it, you definitely missed a treat. I would love to see it again.
Someone told me the other day that I was like the weather, unpredictable. I said good, now you can’t predict or judge either one of us (smile).
Don’t forget we have the Big Gospel Singing coming up on Saturday, July 9, 6 p.m. at Putnam County Middle School. Came out and support Mothers Against Crime. We can use your support. Tickets are only $10, and we are going to stomp the devil out with singing and praises.
Thought for the day: On the heels of a job well done come the blessings of a lingering sense of satisfaction and a good night’s sleep. Keep playing.
