Dear Editor,
Connecting the community through the arts was really kicked up a notch by poets from Putnam County Elementary School.
When invited to submit original poems to celebrate national poetry month at Butterflies and Blooms pollinator habitat, they also contributed some acrostic poems with a space to fill in the blank, thus making it an interactive display. Visitors could enjoy their poems and also connect with them by creating rhymes of their own.
Thank you to all the teachers who inspired these students to share their talent and innovative spirit with their community.
