Letters to the Editor: Dance your cares away

Dear Editor,

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, people of all ethnicities, ranging in age from high school kids to senior citizens, came out to Eatonton City Central Stage to learn to dance the Bachata from dance instructor Francisco Aguirre, once again connecting the Eatonton-Putnam County community through the arts.

While you may have missed the fun this past Monday, there are still two more chances to learn some new dances and maybe even make some new friends.

On Sept. 26, Aguirre will be teaching the Merengue and on Oct. 2, he’ll have us swinging with the Salsa. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m., but you can come and connect with us at any time.

Hope to see you – and dance with you – there!
