Dear Editor,
There has been considerable discussion and some controversy about subject items. As a tax-paying, longtime resident of Putnam County, I would like to publicly comment on the matter.
If there has ever been a good tax, SPLOST is certainly one of them. Many county/city needs have been provided with this tax revenue rather than using property taxes.
I do not think we can afford to vote “no” …
