Dear Editor,
Optimism. That is the present sentiment of the majority of the country. We, the people, have spoken.
If I were to invest in a company, I would love to have a leader/CEO with four years of experience leading it. [Donald Trump] swam in the swamp for four years and learned some valuable lessons.
First, who does he surround himself with this time around? His supporting cast includes Elon Musk, RFK Jr., Vivek Ramaswamy, Tucker Carlson, Tulsi Gabbard, Rudy Giuliani, JD Vance, Joe Rogan, and Mike Johnson—A formidable list of upbeat Americans with proven track records.
In his 1961 presidential acceptance speech, JFK said, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”
I am pleading with the other half of this country that you give him a chance this time around. And pray for the best. “My country, right or wrong, my country.”
It will take some unification to move forward — country over politics.
