The “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” which irrationally has affected the souls of so many “Dems,” manifested itself loud and clear in your petty article titled “Putting presidential pressure on the PRESS Act.” (The Eatonton Messenger, Nov. 28, 2024, A4).
How do you feel the press should fully bask in the freedoms of the First Amendment to the Constitution while you do not think certain community members in Eatonton should have those rights? You are preventing certain “Letters to the Editor” from certain members of the community from being printed just because they clash with your “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
I have lived in Putnam County for 40 years and have been a regular writer to the editor strictly according to the rules of The Eatonton Messenger. The Eatonton Messenger has never rejected a letter I wrote until you became “editor.”
As all rational people know, high hypocrisy identifies people of your ilk. The Eatonton Messenger would be better served without you.
