Dear Editor,
A double thumbs up to Anthony Frazier, Ms. Rindi Daniel, and the entire staff employed by the Putnam County Public Works Department.
It seems when there is new home construction and/ or a lengthy holiday period, plenty of trash lands on Spivey Road.
A call to 706-485-8817 reporting not only the trash but also a new pothole prompted a quick response. Within 24 hours, the trash was gone, and the pothole filled.
This took place just before the recent storms and before trees fell, culverts washed out and county roads were covered in mud. I imagine the road department became overwhelmed and worked long hours to clear up or fix that mess.
Thanks so much, Public Works employees. You are appreciated!
Sylbie Yon, Putnam County
