Letter to the Editor: Tri-County EMC responds

Dear Editor,

Tri-County EMC is proud of its relationship with its members in every county we serve. Our goal is to promptly respond to our member’s needs and concerns. The advertisements in last week’s papers (The Eatonton Messenger, pg. A8, March 9; Lake Oconee News, pg. A8, March 10) imply otherwise.

We are in the midst of completing a two-year project to provide world-class fiber broadband to every member of the cooperative. Completing a project of that scope is not easy and we depend on a large number of contractors to help us. When a problem occurs, such as damage to property, we will take responsibility and make it right.

All we ask is that you help us by letting us know if you run into an issue or find damage to your property. The ruts along Old Phoenix Road will be repaired as soon as our work in that area is completed.

We are owned by those we serve. We take those words to heart. We listen to our members, which is why we are bringing you access to high-speed fiber broadband. Because you, our members, asked us to.

Ray Grinberg CEO, Tri-County EMC
