I have seen and heard a great deal about local politics over the 40 years that I have lived on Lake Oconee.
Oh, and been involved as a county commissioner and a member of other governing boards.
Never considered myself a “Lake Person,” but rather a Putnam Countian.
Unlike my lengthy editorial letters in the past, I am going to get right to the point. Please, please get out and vote in the upcoming election for County Commission Chairman.
There may be a “battle of the signs” going on, but signs do not vote. Districts 1, 2, 3, and 4, please make the effort to go to the polls and Pick Pickens. Lenwood is the guy who will represent ALL with energy, integrity, and fairness.
