Putnam track and field coach ‘proud’ of state athletes

Putnam County’s track and field team sent 16 athletes to the Class AA state meet last week at East Jackson High School in Commerce. The War Eagles faced fierce competition, with only three securing a spot in the top eight of their respective events.
