Gators bank two region wins

The Gatewood Gators opened region play last week with consecutive victories over visiting Piedmont Academy on Tuesday and at Brentwood on Friday night. The results boosted Gatewood to 16-2 overall, putting it first in the GIAA Region 2-AA standings.

Five Gators earn All-State honors for 2023

Despite a close loss in the state championship game early this month in Macon, the Gatewood Gators enjoyed a successful season on the gridiron. The team went 10-3 overall and saw five players named to the All-State Team.
