Georgia lawmakers passed legislation on the last day of this year’s General Assembly session guaranteeing Georgians the right to fish in navigable portions of the state’s rivers and streams.

DBHDD to ‘dispose of’ four CSH buildings

Gov. Brian Kemp signed an executive order last Tuesday authorizing the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) to “dispose” of the Jones, Green, Walker, and Wash buildings on the Central State Hospital (CSH) campus.

Early last month, Governor Brian Kemp signed House Bill 121, which imposes new restrictions on boaters engaged in towing wake boarders or providing a boat-generated wake for wake surfers.
