EPTAH addresses local development, tourism efforts

Members of the Eatonton-Putnam Tourism, Arts, and Heritage (EPTAH) group met Oct. 15 at the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce, where conversation turned toward one of Georgia’s more controversial new industries: data centers.

GWM names King as keynote speaker for writers’ retreat

Robbie King, the new president and CEO of the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce, will be one of two keynote speakers at Georgia Writers Museum’s Writers Retreat: Write on the Lake. The retreat, scheduled for Feb. 21-23, will be held at the museum. It will begin with a 4 p.m.

PGH opens new rehab center

Putnam General Hospital (PGH) officially opened its new patient rehabilitation center last Friday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony arranged by the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce.

Eatonton Main Street offers business education, advice
