Saving Grace brings faith-focused retail to Eatonton

Saving Grace, a new faith-based retail shop in downtown Eatonton, held its official ribbon-cutting Saturday morning, hosted by the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce.The shop, owned by Kirsten Thompson, opened for business Feb.

E-P Chamber resumes women’s Lunch & Learn

The Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce hosted its second Women in Business, Lunch & Learn event on June 12 at its downtown Eatonton office, where more than 20 women showed up, ready to build a network and educate themselves.

Two times the fun in downtown Eatonton

The downtown area of Eatonton came alive with two major events this past Saturday as the 23rd annual Taste of Eatonton presented by the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce, which took over The Plaza Square from 4 to 8 p.m.

Mural: You belong here … Eatonton

On Saturday, with the Dairy Festival going on across the street, three painters from the Color the World Bright program, directed by UGA’s Lamar Dodd School of Art Professor Joseph Norman, labored all day creating downtown Eatonton’s newest public artwork.
