There were seven vehicles, but only a couple of relatively minor injuries in a crash at the Walmart intersection at Hwy. 441 and Oak Street, Thursday afternoon.“It’s a miracle no one was seriously hurt,” Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell said.

A Henry County man who had been missing for a month is now safe and reunited with his family after being found by an Eatonton Police Officer.Around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Eatonton Police Department Officer Chad Burket saw a 2013 Nissan Rogue traveling the wrong way on Marion Street.

EPD intercepts possible prison contraband

Eatonton Police Department officers intercepted a package of contraband believed to be intended for drop off at a nearby prison before it reached its destination last week.A woman was arrested, and law enforcement officers are still seeking her husband, according to EPD Investigator Hargrove Jones.
