War Eagles shut out Utopian Academy

Putnam County arguably played its most complete game against the Utopian Academy for the Arts last week in Ellenwood. The War Eagles dominated from start to finish, defeating UAA 69-0 to improve to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in Class A Division I Region 4 competition.

Redskins tame War Eagles at home, hope to rebound against Utopian Academy

Putnam County’s two-game winning streak was snapped this past week at home against Social Circle.In a game played last Saturday due to Hurricane Helene, the Redskins topped the War Eagles 29-22.Putnam head coach Joel Harvin felt his team wasn’t prepared to face a stout Social Circle squad.
