Rebels get redemption over Dawgs in Sugar Bowl

NEW ORLEANS – The Allstate Sugar Bowl wasn’t sweet to Georgia for a second consecutive year, as the No. 3 Bulldogs lost to No. 6 Ole Miss 39-34 in the CFP quarterfinal matchup Jan. 1 at the Caesars Superdome.

Stockton ready for return to NOLA, rematch with Rebels

Last season’s Sugar Bowl loss to Notre Dame left a “bad taste” in the mouth of Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton.It was Stockton’s first career start after replacing Carson Beck against Texas in the SEC Championship game.

Dawgs roll Tide in Atlanta

Georgia dominated Alabama from start to finish on Dec. 6 in the SEC Championship game. The No. 3 Bulldogs (12-1) avenged an earlier regular-season loss to No. 9 Alabama (10-3) with a 28-7 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium this past Saturday to secure their second consecutive conference title.

Dawgs return to New Orleans for Sugar Bowl

With their SEC Championship win last Saturday over the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Georgia Bulldogs claimed their spot as the No. 3 seed in the 2025 College Football Playoffs.The back-to-back conference champions will return to New Orleans for the New Year’s Day Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Defense leads Dawgs over Georgia Tech

Georgia has faced defensive struggles at times throughout this season, but the unit played its best game against in-state rival Georgia Tech in the regular-season finale at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Nov. 28.

Dawgs, Yellow Jackets to renew Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate

After last season’s eight-overtime game, which featured a large halftime deficit, No. 4 Georgia (10-1) and No. 15 Georgia Tech (9-2) will renew their annual rivalry, called “Clean, Old-Fashioned Hate,” this Friday in Atlanta.

HORNS DOWN! Dawgs’ dominate 4th-quarter in win over Texas

Georgia put on a masterful display of domination Saturday night at home, especially in the fourth quarter of its 35-10 victory over Texas.The Bulldogs (9-1, 7-1), who led 14-10 going into the final quarter, performed better than the Longhorns when it mattered most.
