EPWSA presents rate increase, new service delivery charge

With an eye to the future – and in preparation for growth – the Eatonton-Putnam Water and Sewer Authority (EPWSA) board last week raised customers’ water and sewer rates by 4 percent for next year and held a lengthy discussion over a hefty “service delivery charge” for new customers.

EPWSA, Piedmont work on expiring water deal

If early talks about the expiration of a 20-year deal struck in 2007 are any indication, service areas for the Eatonton-Putnam Water and Sewer Authority (EPWSA) and the private Piedmont Water Co. will basically remain the same as they are now.
