Voting deadlines established

With the close of candidate qualifying last week, Putnam Elections Supervisor Kimberly Rudolph announced deadlines and schedules for various forms of District 3 voting in the Nov. 7 special election for that district’s county commission seat, recently vacated by Alan Foster.

District 3 BOC election deadlines yet to be set

In the wake of Alan Foster’s recent resignation from the Putnam County Board of Commissioners, a special election can be held on Nov. 7 with “plenty of time” for candidates to qualify and run campaigns for District 3 commissioner, according to Putnam Elections Supervisor Kim Rudolph.

Foster plans commission resignation

Late last week, Alan Foster unexpectedly tendered his resignation from the District 3 seat on the Putnam County Board of Commissioners.
