Alliance Home & Land Group selected Meals on Wheels through the Greene County Senior Center for its quarterly Alliance Gives Back community charity program. This event was open to the public and everyone was encouraged to bring cleaning supply donations.
“As a regular volunteer with Meals on Wheels I couldn’t be more thrilled to have them be the recipient to kick off 2023”, said Rich Johns. “I’m thankful for the work they do and know that this will benefit a lot of people.”
Cleaning supply donations poured in from members of the community, including many items from Gatewood Schools.
“Ms. Moss saw our event on Facebook and reached out. She got her high school students involved and they provided a tremendous amount of cleaning supplies that were very much needed. So, a huge thank you to her and her students,” said Chris Hewatt.
Alliance Gives Back will be selecting another charity in May for the second quarter of 2023 to receive a $500 donation. If you would like to nominate a local charity from Greene, Putnam, Morgan, Hancock, or Baldwin County please email alliancegivesback@alliancehomeandlandgroup.com.
Please include the charity’s name, contact name, contact phone, and email, and why you are nominating them.
