With December just around the corner, the holiday season is here and The Plaza Arts Center has two opportunities to help celebrate the season.
First, The Plaza is hosting a free community event Dec. 3, when family and friends can come together for a day of crafts, treats and pictures with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This free event is made possible by sponsors The Wizardz and Dr. Meigan Miller’s office. The Eatonton-Putnam County Library also will be on site with fun activities for kids of all ages.
Next up will be A Bing Crosby Christmas! Dec. 10, at The Plaza. ‘Tis the season to be jolly as Broadway baritone Jared Bradshaw celebrates America's favorite crooner Bing Crosby. A Broadway veteran of more than a decade, Bradshaw appeared in Jersey Boys and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The immensely talented crooner leads a swinging band featuring a talented trio singing the joyful harmonies of the Andrews Sisters.
Tickets are now on sale at plazacenter. org, but this show is nearly sold out, so don’t delay in ordering.
Both holiday events are family friendly, and The Plaza encourages everyone to celebrate the season with loved ones. For more information on either event, call The Plaza at 706-923-1655, or visit The Plaza Arts Center online at Facebook or at plazacenter.org.
