On Sept. 17, members of The Artisans Village Guild displayed their interpretations of inspirational photos by Lake Country Photo Club Members at the 10th annual Dual Vision: Art Through Different Eyes show at Barrel 118 in downtown Eatonton. While many artists chose to replicate an original photograph, others opted to create sculptures, jewelry, or paintings loosely inspired by a photo’s subject, color, or composition. Guild member Mickey Baxter-Spade (far left) was voted People’s Choice for her painting, “The Stillness Of Now,” based on Linda Foster’s photograph, while photographer Greg Miller (bottom left) earned a remarkable fifth-straight People’s Choice honor for his photograph of a jellyfish, painted by artist Laura Anderson.
