Artists and guests mingled at Festival Hall last Wednesday evening for the Artist Reception, which heralded the newly hung art from more than a dozen participating artists and photographers.
Participating artists were Steve Kippels, Chris Ball, Cynzia Sanchez, Mary Busman, Linda Foster, Gail Vail, Karen Blakeney, Linda Dudley, Kay Cowen, Lisa Wheeler, Michelle Valigursky, Nicole Chillemi and Leigh Lofgren. Works on display include all watercolor mediums, oil, pastels, giclee, acrylics, and photographic prints and canvases.
Over 40 people attended this wonderful evening of food and refreshments, provided by the artists and Festival Hall.
“It was a wonderful reception with a lovely range of art and good, upcoming artists looming in the background,” Madison artist Suzita George said.
Guests enjoyed meeting the artists and asking them questions about their art; lively discussions were heard throughout the exhibit.
The featured artwork is available for sale, and this latest exhibit will continue for approximately nine months. You can view the artwork during Festival Hall’s regular hours if you missed the reception.
