Second Harvest will host its monthly food distribution on Saturday, June 18, from 8-9 a.m., or until supplies run out.
The event will take place at First Methodist Church Greensboro - Lake Oconee, 202 West Broad St. in downtown Greensboro.
Additionally, the Lake Oconee Humane Society will be on site to distribute pet food and supplies.
All community members in need are encouraged to attend. Volunteers are always welcome, so come lend a hand and make a difference in our community.

Second Harvest is a signature service initiative of the Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties, committed to ending hunger in our community. Since its launch in 2008, the program has grown from rescuing surplus food to organizing monthly food distributions and operating a School Backpack Program, which provides weekend meals to elementary school children from low-income households.
