It was a dream that became a reality on May 6 as Anfrankina Little staged a grand opening for Kina’s Krazy Kreations, a roadside chicken wings and burgers restaurant on the outside of the curve on Hwy. 44/South Oak Street, heading into the south end of downtown Eatonton.
“Kina,” as everyone knows her, said she was born and raised in Eatonton and has loved cooking, especially for others, as long as she can remember.
“I used to stay in the kitchen all day watching my grandmother cook, so she inspired me,” Little said not long after cutting the ceremonial ribbon that officially signified her new life’s start. “I’m so happy to be doing this for me and my daughters right now.”
Little said much of the restaurant’s original menu remains, but she’s added a few personal specialties, including loaded potatoes, a turkey club sandwich, and egg rolls.
“A lot of people love my egg rolls,” she stated, adding that she’s available for catering, too. “They’re a little different for a place like this, but they’re great for a quick lunch or for different functions.”
Little said she’s starting with the single Eatonton location, but ideally wants to expand, if possible.
“I want to train people to do what I'm doing and get it going,” she said. “Who knows where it might take me?”
