This year, the Lake Country Chorus Christmas show, “A Tinsel Town Christmas,” will feature many of our favorite holiday favorites, both secular and religious, all included in at least one Hollywood production.
It has been over 50 years since Bing Crosby first sang “White Christmas” for the now-iconic film of the same name. Since then, Hollywood has entertained us with countless movies featuring many of our holiday-favorite tunes, such as “Somewhere in My Memory” from the hit Christmas classic, Home Alone – which will be featured at this year’s concert, along with Elf and Anastasia, among others.
The Art’s Barn Kids will also be there to show off their Christmas spirit.
Join the Lake Country Chorus on Thursday, Dec. 5, at the First Methodist Church, Lake Oconee campus at 4741 Carey Station Rd., Greensboro. The show will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are just $25; this show is always a sellout, so be sure to get your seats early.
Tickets to “A Tinsel Town Christmas” are available starting this month from any chorus member or at the Bank South branch next to Publix alongside Hwy. 44.
