Lake Oconee Academy (LOA) and the Lake Oconee Academy Foundation (LOAF) extend an invitation to attend the 10th annual Denim & Diamonds Charity Fundraiser – a Titan Strong Event – on March 2 at Collins Farm. Featuring an evening of dinner, dancing, silent and live auctions, and live entertainment by the band Haywire, all proceeds will benefit LOA and LOAF.
Individual tickets for the 10th annual Denim & Diamonds event are on sale now for $175 each. This year, on-site parking will be provided for the convenience of all guests. Reserved tables and sponsorship opportunities also are available. Those unable to attend are encouraged to donate a ticket to a deserving LOA staff member or take part in the online silent auction.
LOAF takes great pride in unveiling water filtration company Juturna (https:// juturna.com/us/) as its title sponsor for Denim & Diamonds 2024, with BankSouth (banksouth. com) again the cornerstone VIP cocktail sponsor for the event.
Greensboro Tire Pros (greensborotire.net) is the Denim & Diamonds’ 2024 raffle sponsor and everyone is encouraged to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win valuable prizes Raffle tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from any LOA student.
The first-place prize is $1,500 cash, the second-place prize is a $1,000 Greensboro Tire Pros gift certificate for tires/service, and the thirdplace prize is $250 cash.
LOAF, an independent 501(c) (3), supports the students, teachers, coaches, and administrators of Lake Oconee Academy by raising private dollars for school activities, supplies and facilities that are not or cannot be funded by state or local tax dollars.
Funding is provided throughout the year to a diverse student body to ensure equal access to personal and enriching, well-rounded educational experiences in and outside the classroom.
In previous years, LOAF has provided students with 6,000plus library books, a piano lab, broadcasting equipment, updated technology, travel scholarships for international study programs, and most recently the completion of a new fine arts building.
Donations to LOAF directly impact students’ overall educational experiences, enabling sponsorship of enhanced learning opportunities and a nurturing environment for growth.
