Motown on Main returns to Greensboro

Celebrate the sounds of Motown with Jarvis Wingfield and Friends while benefitting Greene County Family Connection on March 4, at the Oconee Brewing Company in downtown Greensboro.

Jarvis Wingfield and Friends will play their favorite selections from the mammoth Motown songbook. Dance to the hits of the ‘50s to current hits from legendary artists such as Marvin Gaye, The Jackson 5, The Supremes, Smokey Robinson and The Temptations.

Enjoy great music with friends and family while helping Greene County Family Connection fulfill its mission to develop, implement, and evaluate plans that address the serious challenges facing Georgia’s children and families. The partners work to research the needs of children and families in our community and to address those needs together.

Greene County Family Connections Director Targie Folds hopes to raise much-needed funds for projects such as the Teen Maze and local Back-to-School Bash, as well as helping families in need throughout the year.

'Jarvis Wingfield and Friends is a local band that will get you dancing all night long,” Folds said. “We would love to have you join us for a high-energy night.”

Greene County Family Connection and the Greensboro Main Street program are excited to partner for this event. Motown on Main promises to be a good time for all while making a difference in the community. Come spend a night full of singing and dancing, beginning at 7 p.m., this Saturday at Oconee Brewing Company.

Tickets for this event are available for purchase on the Oconee Brewing Company website at oconeebrewingco.biz. Tickets are $15 online and $20 at the door.

This event is for 21 years and older. For more information about Motown on Main, call Greene County Family Connections at 706-453-1010.
