Putnam local graduates with doctorate from Indiana University

Former Putnam County local, Sarah Lines Kay, recently graduated with her doctorate.

Sarah Lines Kay has graduated with a doctorate of jurisprudence degree from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.

Sarah is the daughter of Stanley and Susan Lines, of Eatonton. Her brother, Josh Lines, also of Eatonton, was her bone marrow transplant donor when she was battling leukemia. She is currently in remission and would not be here today if it were not for his life saving bone marrow. She currently lives in Indiana with her husband, David, and their son, Preston.

Commencement exercises took place on Saturday, May 14, at Carroll Stadium on the IUPUI campus.
