Reynolds Lake Oconee recently named Karen Saltzbart as its new vice president of sales for Reynolds Lake Oconee Properties, representing the 12,000-acre, lake-and-golf community in Greene County.

“I am honored and privileged to have the opportunity,” Saltzbart said of taking over the Reynolds sales force. “Together, we will work on maximizing our market share by providing clients with the service excellence they expect and deserve, whether they are selling or buying a home.”
Saltzbart graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s in retail management, then worked nearly two decades in retail production and sales operations for such brands as Tommy Hilfiger, Anne Klein and Macy’s in New York City.
Her real estate career began in 2002 at Gloria Nilsen Real Estate in New Jersey. In 2008 she was named vice president of sales for Heritage House Sotheby’s International Realty, also in New Jersey, where she managed more than 200 agents and increased the office’s revenue more than threefold during a 12-year tenure.
She and her husband, Philip, recently completed their own home at Reynolds, where daughters Lydia and Phoebe occasionally visit.
