Milledgeville Main Street, in partnership with Georgia College & State University’s Wellness and Recreation Department, is hosting a First Friday Touch-A-Truck and Touch-A-Truck Xtreme event on Nov. 1st from 6-8 p.m. on the 100 block of North Wilkinson Street.
DJ Cut Master D. will play musical favorites while cars, trucks, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes line the street for viewing. Beckham’s Used Cars, a local car dealership, will spotlight the Touch-A-Truck XTREME, which has an unbelievable collection of locally owned monster trucks.
Heavy equipment and first responders’ lights will flash, and the crowd will have a chance to satisfy their curiosity by getting up close to explore the vehicles. This includes everything from fire trucks to bulldozers to wreckers, MPD, BCSD, GSP, GMC PD, DNR, and monster trucks.
Kona Ice will be on location with their slushies and a few other food trucks. Skyla Yates will offer fantastic face painting, and First Friday sponsors and local nonprofit organizations will have free activities and games for the children.

'This free, family event is something everyone enjoys, and we deeply appreciate our partner with GC Wellness and Recreation departing as well as our event sponsors.”
Milledgeville Baldwin County Allied Arts will also be hosting a Music + Creator’s Corner at the Black Heritage Plaza. The event will feature Fall Line Rambler and local artists selling unique pieces from 6 to 8 p.m.
The Milly Farmers Market, held every first and third Friday of the month, will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Pavilion, located at 222 E. Hancock St. Local and sustainable farmers will sell items to the community.
The Milly Farmers Market is a double SNAP/EBT-approved market.
