PAPA’s 80th production at The Plaza

With “Don’t Dress for Dinner” on Nov. 14, 15, 17, 21, and 22, at The Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton, the Plaza Alliance for the Performing Arts (PAPA) will complete its 80th live presentation.

Lake Oconee Church hosts Women’s Wellness Conference

The Women’s Wellness Conference 2024 was held on Oct. 25 at Lake Oconee Church in front of a large audience.The conference was presented by IV Wellness Solutions, highlighting two non-profit organizations in Eatonton, Cheerful Heart Ministry and The Artisans Village.

The Rotary Club of Greene and Putnam Counties names the following students as its Students of the Month for October 2024: Sarah Kate Mansfield, Josh Gentry, and Madyson Mincey.

Lockerly Arboretum debuts first art exhibit

Lockerly Arboretum has become decorated with its first-ever art exhibit for the holiday season. Forest Forms, by Huelani Mei, comprises 18 sculptures depicting flora and fauna, ranging from five feet to 20 feet tall.“An exhibit like this is rare for the size of our community.
