MAGallery presents artist-illustrator Tom Gonzalez

Madison Artists Guild Gallery (MAGallery) will introduce Cuban native Tomas Gonzalez to the local arts community July 14, with a reception to celebrate the opening of his exhibition, This & That Observations. A self-described “visual talker,” Gonzalez will be at MAGallery from 6-8 p.m.

Juneteenth celebrated in Eatonton

Putnam County’s sizable Black community turned out in full force June 17, for the inaugural Juneteenth Parade and Festival, first on the streets of downtown Eatonton, then moving to the recently spruced-up Jimmy Davis Park.

PCCSS music program receives national recognition

For the seventh-consecutive year, the Putnam County Charter School System (PCCSS) has been honored with the Best Communities for Music Education designation from the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) Foundation for its outstanding commitment to music education.
