Lawton Scholarship adds three Greene scholars

The Lawton Family Scholarship has a seven-year history of awards to students of excellence, with three Greene County High School (GCHS) students receiving the Lawton Scholarship this year: Jai’lyn Armour, Sherlyn Camacho-Bustamante and Ryan Evans.
Mother Nature brought strong winds and heavy rain, which changed the program, but the show still went on as attendees huddled under umbrellas and bundled up in rain coats to brace for the elements.

Putnam County High School teacher Rebekah Esau’s Service Leadership class worked together to return the tradition, a “Senior Walk Down Memory Lane,” to the halls of the Putnam County Charter Schools. This project was led by junior Kyreah Martin and was lovingly named “A Walk Down Memory Lane.
