Gatewood’s Middle School team visited Forest City Gun Club in Savannah Oct. 28, for the GIAA JV State Shotgun Competition, where they finished first for the third straight year after breaking 511 of a potential 600 targets.

When Michael Benton casts his gaze across Uncle Remus Golf Course (URGC), he sees more than just fairways and water hazards and greens.

STMA presents mentor and protégé exhibit

The Steffen Thomas Museum of Art (STMA) in Buckhead is holding an opening reception Nov. 12, 4-6 p.m., for a new display, Mentor and Protégé: Jack Stewart and Steffen Thomas. The showing will remain in place until Jan. 28, next year.

Theatre is all about telling stories, and there is a great story being told at Putnam County High School (PCHS). The Putnam Players’ production of Matilda the Musical Jr. was named Region Runner-Up at the region 4-AA One-Act Competition.

Students of Gatewood Schools presented a story of true friendship Oct. 25-26, proving that no true friend is ever too small. The play, Charlotte's Web, is based on a children's novel of the same name by E.B. White.
