The Putnam County Board of Commissioners held its regularly scheduled meeting last Friday morning, with reconciliation of the 2024 budget taking center stage.
Most significantly, the budget was balanced without drawing on the fund balance.
Instead, $810,000 will be added back to the general fund instead of drawing out $650,000 as initially anticipated.
