City council swears in members, advances new charter

Eatonton City Council held its first meeting of the new year, Jan. 6, opening with a swearing- in ceremony for several council members.
Current members Mylle Mangum (Ward 1), James Gorley (Ward 2), and Teresa Doster (Ward 4), joined new council member Fredrick Lowe, elected to the Ward 3 position last November.
