Lake Country Rural Health Initiative has announced it will hold a free health screening clinic on Sept. 8, from noon to 5 p.m. on the Putnam County Courthouse lawn.
Screenings will be available for all ages and are expected to take less than 30 minutes.
This community-focused clinic will offer a wide range of essential health services at no cost, including physical exams, vital measurements (blood pressure, blood oxygenation, BMI, etc.), urinalysis, A1C and cholesterol blood tests, and one-on-one consultations with a cardiologist.
“Our mission is to give back and provide valuable health resources to the rural communities of middle Georgia,” LCRHI co-founder and Executive Director Jered Miller said. “We welcome everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to prioritize your health and well-being, at no charge.”
