Miller announces candidacy for Georgia House District 124

Melanie Miller has officially announced her candidacy for the Georgia House of Representatives District 124 seat in the upcoming 2026 midterm election.

With a platform rooted in transparency, accountability, and integrity, Miller enters the race with a commitment to restoring trust in public service and ensuring that the voices of the community are truly heard under the Gold Dome.

“As a lifelong resident of Georgia and a firm believer in responsible governance, I’m stepping forward to be the change that so many in our community are calling for,” Miller said. “District 124 deserves a representative who listens, leads with integrity, and delivers real results.”

Miller brings a strong background in public service, community engagement, and strategic leadership. Her campaign will focus on key priorities, including ethical governance, education reform, economic opportunity, and access to quality healthcare.

Her decision to run stems from a growing concern among constituents that their needs and concerns are being overlooked in the political process. Miller pledges to bring a renewed sense of openness and integrity to the role, advocating for transparent policymaking and accountable leadership.

“My campaign isn’t about partisanship — it’s about people,” Miller said. “It’s about ensuring every resident of District 124 knows that they have a voice in the State Capitol and a representative who works for them, not special interests.”

Miller’s campaign will officially launch with a community town hall this summer, where residents are invited to share their concerns, ask questions, and join the conversation about the future of District 124.
